Great home for sale in Deer Run!

Behind the gates of Deer Run is a great home for sale!  This house makes use of every square foot of space and has lots of extras.  Come along with me and have a look through my eyes; I promise you will want to see it with your own.

You first notice the inviting rocking chair porch that greets you from the circular drive.  I step through the front door, and there to my right is my favorite room in almost any home…the kitchen.  This one does not disappoint!  One wall has windows that look onto the front porch and beyond to the lovely low maintenance front yard.   There are beautiful granite counters, including a breakfast bar, stainless appliances, and plenty of cabinets.  The island is beneath a pot rack that is positively begging me to cook.  I can smell the gumbo and homemade bread now.

The open floor plan gives way to the great room, with its wide plank wood floors, wood ceiling, and stone fireplace.  Merely open the sliding doors to expand the living space.  The large upper deck has its own fireplace.

The main level is also home to the generous master suite, with private access to the deck.  The suite includes double sinks, granite counters, a walk-in shower, and a soaking tub.  The window over the tub is made of etched glass, and justice is only done seeing it in person.

The wood plank floors continue downstairs, where I find a family room, two bedrooms, a bath, and a workshop.  Let’s not forget the lower level deck!  Call the Carolina Cone Team if you think you might like to see for yourself.

My impression of this house after my initial tour is that it is much larger than it first appeared.  That is true; however, it is also planned to use every nook and cranny.  There is plenty of storage in every part of the home.  When I was building my first home many years ago, my grandmother said, “Remember, you may have enough cabinets and closets for storage, but you will never have too many.”  I think Grandma would like this house as much as I do.  Who knows, maybe she was cooking the gumbo and bread I smelled earlier.

Until next time…
